One focus of Release 4 is the enhancement of our team work environment, providing even more support for project collaboration. New features such as document statistics, document rating and improved annotations allow authors to get quick feedback on their documents, and provide information about how useful intranet content really is.
Collaboration
The introduction of teams to the Hyperwave Team Workspace makes it even easier to collaborate with external partners. As well as using roles, you can use teams to restrict access to information (documents, e-mails, calendars, wikis) to a particular set of users. This allows you to store all project-relevant information in one location - Hyperwave roles, access rights and team management will guarantee that only the desired information is visible.
Search
Find what you're looking for...quickly!
It's important to us that you find documents quickly, without having to fill out complicated dialogs or enter long search strings. Our new search results filter helps you to find the document types you are looking for quickly and easily. And of course you can extend the filter to include your own document types, as required.
You can now also filter by "users", making it easy for you to find people you are looking for.
Web Content Management
New Modules
We have expanded our web content management functionality with a completely new component for XML-based content management and excellent HTML support. The new WCM module also offers social media support with wikis, blogs and RSS. read more

Multilinguality
There is no need to set up several parallel web sites in order to provide multilinguality, you can simply create different language versions for each individual page. Users will automatically be shown the page in their chosen language.
More Snippets
You can now embed YouTube videos and image slideshows easily in your content.
New Module
Seamless Integration into Search
The new file system spider can integrate any drives into the Hyperwave search functionality. This is very convenient for users, as they can search through all information from one central point of access.
Platform Independence and Scalability
Platform Independent and Scalable
As in the past, IS/7 runs on all common Linux and Windows server platforms.
The system grows according to your requirements. IS/7 can be installed on a single machine and then scaled with additional machines as needed. Different server operating systems can be used for the front-end, core and back-end as desired.
Integration
The Software Development Kit supporting development in Java, JavaScript, C++ and .Net has been expanded with a framework for Web services. The Hyperwave repositories can now be easily integrated in an existing SOA infrastructure.
