Hyperwave solutions have been successfully used for R&D work at Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany. The principal aim is to handle all document-based information so as to allow targeted use and increase the stock of knowledge.

The use of the Hyperwave eKnowledge Suite at Merck KGaA provides staff with a facility for expanding the available pool of R & D knowledge. Information based on unstructured documents can be found more quickly and is more readily available. This optimises the flow of information, avoids double effort and ultimately makes a contribution towards speeding up the process of introducing products.
