Hyperwave Appoints Worldwide Vice-President of Marketing
July 13, 2000
Hyperwave, a leading provider of knowledge management solutions
and enterprise information portals, has appointed Terry Jordan as
vice-president of worldwide marketing. Jordan will be based at Hyperwave's
new UK offices in Heathrow, London and will report to Christoph
Michel, a member of Hyperwave's executive board.
Jordan joins Hyperwave from a eight year tenure at Sequent Computer
Systems where he held a number of senior positions, most recently
as EMEA marketing manager for the NUMA-Q range of high-end servers.
Jordan followed the NUMA-Q brand to IBM following the latter's acquisition
of Sequent in September 1999.
Prior to IBM and Sequent, Jordan worked for Hewlett-Packard and
British Aerospace in a number of international communications and
marketing roles.
Says Jordan: "Hyperwave's technology and products are far and away
leaders in their class, judged by both functionality and customer
satisfaction. I want to take the market penetration and awareness
already achieved in the company's home market of Germany and replicate
it around the world. My objective is to put Hyperwave in its rightful
place as a key, global supplier of portal and knowledge management
solutions."
