New Hyperwave Group of Companies is formed
Munich • July 21, 2006 With new additions to the management team and a new focus, NewHyperG AG has become the successor to Hyperwave AG. Based in Graz with subsidiary companies in Germany, the UK and the US, the company is a leading provider of Collaborative Information Management solutions.
Last October, GEP-Group (Vienna) became the new major financial investor in the Hyperwave Group of companies. NewHyperG owns all copyrights to the products and all brands of Hyperwave AG. The majority of long standing employees and their respective knowledge remain with the new company and in early 2006 Pieter Duijst joined as the new CEO.
Pieter Duijst commented: “Collaborative Information Management is replacing ordinary Enterprise Content Management systems due to the fact that it connects people and information on an immediate and collaborative basis”.
Hyperwave solutions are modular, scalable and are part of an integrated and unified platform which has over 500 person years of in-house development, delivering one of the most functional product suites of its kind. Hyperwave products have also been developed and designed to conform to EU-wide regulations on Records Management and Compliance. The product suite covers all aspects of collaboration, document and content management, as well as delivering a comprehensive elearning platform.
Overachieving in the first half of 2006 confirms the positioning of NewHyperG. The Hyperwave Group has not only gained a number of new name customers in 2006 but continues to grow its presence in the current customer base. Pieter Duijst confirmed “Our success in the first half of 2006 allowed us to reach a large part of this year’s targets already.
