Austrian KABEG optimizes processes with Hyperwave

Munich • May 7, 2007 The State Hospital Operating Association (KABEG) of the Austrian Federal State of Carinthia introduces a Hyperwave information management system to realize considerable savings in the work processes within the management area.

The new information management system currently enables around 300 KABEG employees to access all relevant documents over the intranet - from letters, guidelines and plans, through to scanned paper documents

However, at KABEG, a large percentage of this company knowledge was unstructured and deposited in countless documents, reports, e-mails, charts and audio and video files. This information is now managed in a structured manner with Hyperwave, and made accessible to users. The introduction of the Hyperwave solutions means that KABEG is now able to archive any file types and to retrieve them quickly according to document types or project or customer allocations. Klaus Friede, the project manager responsible for the introduction of Hyperwave, confirms:

Hyperwave enabled us to make considerable savings in the work processes within the management area. In addition, the expenditure for document searching has been drastically reduced. Employees now have more time for new, future-oriented tasks. Our expectations from information management were met in full by Hyperwave.
