Hyperwave at CeBIT 2008
Munich • February 6, 2008 Hyperwave, one of the leading providers of a Web 2.0 Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform, will exhibit alongside the Verband Organisations- und Informationssysteme e.V. (VOI) at this year's CeBIT taking place in Hanover, Germany.
Hyperwave will present trend-setting developments from the world of information management in Hall 3 at Booth A29. Real-life application scenarios will show visitors to the international trade fair how Web 2.0 principles can be integrated into a company’s IT to effectively support information management.
The economic success of a company is largely based on how up-to-date its documents and information are. Both internal and external employees as well as the company’s IT have to ensure that all data is kept up-to-date and available to all authorised users at all times.
Hyperwave has incorporated the basic principles of Web 2.0 into its Enterprise Content Management platform solution to address these challenges to the company’s IT.
- Roll-based access authorisation
- workflow functions
- and security measures
are integral elements of all Hyperwave solutions. Thanks to the synergy of these and other functions, Hyperwave offers companies a comprehensive tool for real-time collaboration via chat, instant messaging or video conferencing, for example, and an optimised publication process.
The term Web 2.0 has certainly been overused by the media, but companies need to appreciate the vast benefits offered by the concept of Web 2.0. Christoph Michel, Senior Vice President at Hyperwave
“At this year’s CeBIT we’ll be showing trade visitors what a forward-looking solution such as our Web 2.0 ECM platform can offer them. Web 2.0 is the right step towards better collaboration and increased business success.”
