Appswave Conferencing awarded the DMS Innovation Prize 2008
Munich • September 12, 2008 Hyperwave has been awarded the DMS Innovation Prize for Appswave Conferencing, the new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for eCollaboration. The prize was awarded for new products and services in the field of Document and Enterprise Content Management technologies by organizer Koelnmesse GmbH as part of DMS EXPO 2008.
The registered industry visitors to DMS EXPO selected Appswave Conferencing, Hyperwave's new SaaS conferencing solution, as number three among the winners of the 2008 DMS Innovation Prize. This was the third time that Koelnmesse has awarded the prize for the most valuable and useful innovations in the field of electronic information and document management.
Appswave Conferencing allows companies to create virtual, project-based communities that can hold audiovisual meetings at any time – for the entire group, between team members, or even with external partners. Appswave Conferencing incorporates presence awareness and instant messaging, which keep teams constantly informed of the availability of individual members and notify members that a session is starting without advance notice.
