Hyperwave launches National Channel Partner Program for its Knowledge Management, Corporate Portal, E-learning Solutions

Founding Partners include Aquas, Beyond.com Government Systems Group, Brickwalk, Imprint Systems, Kanda Software, SAIC

June 18, 2001

Hyperwave Information Management, Inc. today launched its National Channel Partner Program, which will facilitate its entrance into new markets and expand its professional services capabilities for its knowledge management, corporate portal and e-learning software offerings.

Founding partners of the new program include Aquas Incorporated, Beyond.com Government Systems Group, Brickwalk Incorporated, Kanda Software Incorporated, Imprint Systems Incorporated and SAIC.

According to Tim Kounadis, vice president of North America Marketing for Hyperwave, "This new partner program will immediately enhance our vertical market expertise and enable us to penetrate inviting markets in which our partners have a strong presence, such as diversified services -- especially advertising and media -- as well as finance and government." In addition, he noted, "Our partners now have a robust and proven infrastructure on which to develop exciting and compelling vertical applications."

The company's Hyperwave Information Server delivers a powerful platform for developing intranet and extranet knowledge-sharing applications. The Hyperwave eKnowledge Portal (HIP) is an out-of-the-box corporate portal solution. Built on the Hyperwave Information Server infrastructure, it offers both aggregation and collaboration. And its eLearning Suite is an integrated corporate e-learning offering that enables companies with multiple locations to reduce the time and cost required to train staff, by effectively delivering standards compliant courseware and by packaging knowledge assets into performance enhancing modules.

The National Channel Partner Program will provide customers with a number of benefits, including the ability to work with partner companies that understand their business operations and utilize technology to solve their unique business challenges; local technical and sales representation; easy access to Hyperwave services and cost-effective professional service offerings.

According to Carmen Larsen, chief executive officer of AQUAS, Inc., "Government organizations are endeavoring to use the Internet to dramatically improve information sharing and electronic outreach to the general public and other federal agencies. A Hyperwave and AQUAS partnership delivers a blow to information chaos, and provides a smooth and accessible venue to integrate knowledge management tools into a well-planned information management strategy. It's a powerful solution and we're ready to take it to our customers."

"Partnering with Hyperwave was an important decision in our constant strategy to offer the best products to our existing and future customers," said Matthew Williams, president, Brickwalk. "This partnership adds a reliable and proven suite of products to our core offering. Additionally, our relationship with Hyperwave enables us to expand those offerings at the enterprise level for our customers seeking industry leading portal, e-learning, knowledge and document management solutions."
