Hyperwave, a leading provider of collaborative knowledge solutions
has released the advanced knowledge management platform IS/6 R2.
This new version offers enhanced scalability and performance for
existing and future users of Hyperwave Collaborative Knowledge Solutions.
A major new feature is an optional Workflow module, giving easy-to-use
and flexible Business Process Management to an integrated knowledge
management and e-learning solution package.
The new Hyperwave knowledge management platform stores documents
together with accompanying data within a standard database. The
modular platform encompasses a set of base knowledge management
functionalities, along with the ability to rapidly develop flexible
collaborative knowledge management, portal and e-learning solutions.
"Besides technical optimisations the new version offers easier
customisation of the Look & Feel of the user interface, as well
as an extended support of the Microsoft SQL Server database,"

As an optional add-on to collaborative document sharing within
organisations, the Workflow Option extends the platform functionality
with business process management facilities. 100% web-based with
drag and drop graphical user interface, it enables everyone in the
organisation to create and manage process definitions, initiate
business cases and to work on tasks in an easy and intuitive way.
The Workflow option guarantees a transparent combination of channelled
work processes and proven knowledge management functions.
Extending the Hyperwave eKnowledge Suite further, the Team Workspace
enables ubiquitous project collaboration of employees, partners
and customers via the Intra -, Extra -, or Internet. Team Workspaces
provide project-related tools such as group calendars, task lists,
notes and full email integration, whereby the focus is placed on
providing an optimised Business-to-Business solution. This will
result in a competitive advantage through faster and more effective
