Bantu and Hyperwave Partner to Embed Enterprise Instant Messaging and Presence in Knowledge Management Platform

Integrated Solution Enables Real-Time Communication Among Knowledge Workers

Hyperwave Information Management, Inc., a leading supplier of collaborative knowledge management and e-learning software and Bantu, Inc., the leader in secure, enterprise instant messaging (IM) and presence management solutions today announced a worldwide technology partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, Bantu and Hyperwave are working together to deliver secure instant messaging and presence through the Bantu platform and Hyperwave’s eKnowledge solutions and are jointly marketing and selling each other’s technologies. The Companies have already completed the integration of their products and deployed the integrated solution for customers.

Bantu’s technology allows users to see immediately if their associates are online and available to instantly enter into collaboration sessions. This will make it easier to launch and join meetings, and improve communication for geographically dispersed work groups, real-time document sharing, and distance learning.
