Hyperwave Opens New Office in Washington D.C.
to Build on Escalating Demand for Collaborative Knowledge Sharing

Fueled by the company’s continued growth in the Federal
market and the urgent need for technology to facilitate the capture
and dissemination of intelligence and organizational knowledge,
Hyperwave today announced the opening of a new office in Washington
D.C. Hyperwave is a leading supplier of Collaborative Knowledge
Management and eLearning solutions enabling departments and agencies
to securely gather, manage, share, and reuse unstructured information,
knowledge and experience.
"Technology solutions to promote information sharing, collaboration,
and knowledge management within and between agencies is of critical
importance to the United States Government in order to best utilize
their existing knowledge across many geographical & organizational
boundaries," said Peter Watson, vice-president of North
American Sales. "We’re expanding our team within the
DC area in order to meet this increased demand for collaborative
knowledge
sharing from federal and civilian agencies."

Hyperwave’s D.C. office will be led by Walter Burks. Burks
brings over 15 years of experience in enterprise software sales
with a focus on business intelligence and data warehousing applications.
Prior to joining Hyperwave, Burks held positions with Verity, Ascential
Software, Business Objects, and EDS.
